How to save the world.

Waste Soda Bottles save the world!

 

Soda bottles, of course, they are literally everywhere and cost nothing (well almost). I know from my experience that they won’t last forever, maybe 2 years, but who cares, they are essentially free and can be recycled and new ones installed. Later we can look at making maybe square bottles made from UV resistant plastic, Poly Carbonate would be good. I already have the designs in Solidworks for this if anyone has a bottle blowing machine and can make the mold.

The Soda bottle I chose was the 2 litre bottle from a very famous company. They are everywhere and the same. Coincidently the cap fits into the connector of a 32mm PVC tube, which is readily available from any plumbing suppliers. Other componentary is readily available here or at your local aquarium supliers and garden shops.

So I drank some Coke (please sponsor the project), purchased some T-connectors and some tube, a hack saw, some silicone and the gun application, It all cost me $8.00  (I love China) Why so cheap?  I guess the answer to that is 2 fold. Economies of scale, and sheer greed. If your reading this in English you most likely live in the sheer greed environment.
